Just look at different pictures/diagrams of the human body and draw it. Figure out the key reference points/shapes that work for you and memorize them. That's the 'secret'.

This. There are many ways to learn to draw anatomy. I learned by mainly drawing from imagination, only using photo reference when I was stuck. Now, after many years, I'm finally getting interested in studying anatomical diagrams to polish my skill, now that I already have a good grasp of what a lively, attractive, not necessarily anatomically super correct character looks like.

Studying the diagrams before you are a fairly fluent character artist is not necessary. It could derail you too. Even if you become an absolute beast at the diagrams, you might not be any better as an artist than Proko.

It's hard to see subtle differences in elevation on muscles from average people under bad light, getting a book going through them will highlight them for you so that you know what you're doing when drawing and rendering a body using reference

The small books are part of the big books. Complete guide to drawing from life and Constructive anatomy are the main ones but there's overlap.

I don't like most of these Marvel prints. The Elektra one in the OP is a lesser version of a splash page by Sienkiewicz. Moebius is one of my favorites regardless.

Yes, I can't stand his voice.

I also started noticing that a lot of times my drawings of a model would have more of a likeness than his, and I'm a 1 year /beg/. Often he slips into just drawing memorized shapes for body parts.
