I've got no financial aid for any of the universities I've gotten into, and am not sure if it's worth the money. I've heard that some universities - notably in Germany - offer cheaper tuition than US universities, even for international students.

Does anybody know of good foreign countries/universities that are relatively cheap and offer good education for international/US students?

Also, has anyone here gone overseas as an American for university / is planning to do this? How did it work out/what are your plans?

I plan on studying Civil Engineering.

That's the reason why I trust this trial-and-error method more than a religion. Depending on the point of view, it is understandable to put trust in it since all the religions preach more-or-less the same thing, but that's also what's fishy about it.

Nebula and dante are probably the best two providers, but nebula offers the 30x test at half the price of dante, and also offers the 100x test that dante doesn't have yet.
As for time dante is probably quicker for people in Europe since it's in Italy, while nebula for americans.

I've only done 23&me so far. Just before I learned about sequencing.

23&me have three or four successive opt-ins for storing various levels of data. You have to consent to each one. Something like this if I remember correctly:

>store the basic data
mandatory or no point to it otherwise
>keep the sample for future sequencing
maybe they'll do a full sequence in the future without having to send a sample in
>include your data in statistics generated by 23&me and then shared with third parties
third parties won't get your name or sequence
>allow your data (name stripped) to be shared directly with third parties
data is anonymized but they get the sequence

Your sequence isn't really much use to "them" on its own unless it's shared with insurance companies. They won't do that behind your back, and if they do you could sue the fuck out of them.

You can also download your data and upload it anonymously to third party services that provide more information than 23&me. For example I learned I'm 4x more likely to die of a brain anyeurism than average.

The results are statistical and they can broadly tell what race you are but not shit like how balkan/viking/french you are, which is what the typical consumer of DNA tests wants. At least not with accuracy, in an expensive study you might get "probabilities of heritage".
