I've got no financial aid for any of the universities I've gotten into, and am not sure if it's worth the money. I've heard that some universities - notably in Germany - offer cheaper tuition than US universities, even for international students.

Does anybody know of good foreign countries/universities that are relatively cheap and offer good education for international/US students?

Also, has anyone here gone overseas as an American for university / is planning to do this? How did it work out/what are your plans?

I plan on studying Civil Engineering.
