If graphene is such an amazing material because it's made of carbon atoms laid down in a 2D hexagonal pattern (pic related), what would happen if you laid the carbon atoms in a triangular pattern?
Anonymous
>>13659757 Wait, so sp2 would form a 1-atom-thick sheet of carbon, with atoms laid in a triangular pattern?
Anonymous
>>13659771 Well
If you were to for example tile pic related it would inevitably isomerize into graphene unless you do a single "strand" of it

>>13659827 Basically, if you make a sheet of the molecule it would make graphene

Why don't we create a spaceship that goes in a loop, returning to earth in 250 years after 5 years from the perspective of the riders? Once we get back everything will be fucking awesome. Surely all of us /sci/entists can pitch in with our 300k/year starting to crowdfund this.

Communism: Genocide, ethnic cleansing, censorship, murder of dissidents, preventing from leaving, taking away their property, killing their businesses, empty shelves, rationing, food stamps, shooting protesters, denying people the right to decide their future, economic collapse, constant propaganda, historical lies covering up the truth, covering up the truth of today to whitewash the failures, corruption, breaking up the human spirit to make him feel like a worm. Reality just a generation ago. We all know about it, remember, will never forget and we're gonna make sure that the rest of the world knows the truth

Why is the belief that Elon Musk is a based billionaire who will save and advance humanity so prevalent?
Anonymous
>>13658026 Transplants just use your own hair from the back. Its a compromise. Elon used something else and it shows.

>>13658040 Again, why would you say that? There is nothing special about his hair. There are millions of men who got transplants with the same or better results. Actually his hairline is pretty weak if he somehow has a secret technology or procedure, it's a receded hairline that looks OK on older white men but not what you would get if you had any option you wanted.

Abuses his employees and is a psychopath egomaniac who only cares about the god status he has because he posts le epic chungus memes on twitter. And just is very cringe and annoying (watch his SNL appearance).

I don't really like the natural sciences, as I hate the research method used. You need very advanced level knowledge to actually understand why natural things happen the way they do. I only know that advanced phys tries to explain it, but I don't know anything about phys. Otherwise it's just experimentation, which is boring, because it's basically memorization with extra steps

What is multiple sclerosis like, Anons?
My doctors suspect I might be in the early stages of it, but we still need to do tests that might take 1-2 years to complete. Googling has only given me general answers rather than personalised. But either way, I'm fucking scared, bruhs.

I would feel sharp nerve like pains all over, light-headedness, weird vision flashes, weird pulsing static feeling in my head especially after waking up, feeling of not being able to tell how my limbs were positioned based on feel alone (having to look to confirm that my legs are crossed).
turned out I was just depressed, stressed, not sleeping properly and not active enough.
