Should critical thinking be banned? Critical thinking is the chief cause of scientific misinformation.

Mathematics undergraduate degrees and Ph.D's should be standardized and results publishable on-line on the same website. Everyone would only have to take two exams: one for the undergrad. degree and one for the Ph.D degree -- and one original problem solved. Background would need to be verified by the sponsoring schools but it would work. Thoughts? This, all on-line, or by paper mail.

Im not a scientist

and I'll never be one. This is a hard fact that I have to come to terms with. I tried the PhD. I'm not cut out for research.
Everybody thinks Im a scientist. I spent 7 years in fucking school just to pipette things in a lab. The only thing I wanted to do is research and now that I got a taste of it I realize it's out of my grasp.
Im currently working as a lab tech. I will be nothing more than a lab tech. I will never do anything novel.
It sucks being a brainlet who is interested in science.

Did Math Academia ever have instances where basic truth was rejected like how, many pregnant women died because doctors didn't believe in germ theory and infected their patients? What's the mathematical equivalent of this?

Sup. I decided to make some CuCl2 from elemental Copper using 3%H2O2 and 33% HCL.
First it turned into this beautiful green solution as you can see at the bottom of the beaker in my pic. But as I added more HCL it turned piss yellow.. (see following pic). Is it just due too many Cl ions?

>"UMMMMMMM ACTUALLY THIS IS ALL PART OF THE POO POO FACTOR AND THE REASON THIS HAPPENS IS BECAUSE OF INVISIBLE, UNDETECTABLE AND UNSENSABLE DARK MATTER"
>"PROOF OF DARK MATTER EXISTING? WELL CLEARLY THAT OBJECT IS MOVING FUNKY"
