Useful for what? You can't say that something is useless, you can say you dont know the applications or that nobody the application today and even then that applications might not be relevant to you now. Someone somewhere either already cares or might care in the future. Thats how things are.

You can't think of it, it doesn't mean that such problems don't exist. Topological data analysis is a thing.
Outside of data analysis - if you knew a thing about topology, you would know that it is relevant to physics. You don't even know to talk about crazy condensed matter research into topological insulators which are classified by fucking K-theory, you can just look at the Aharanov Bohm effect. How useful is that? God knows, but that is real world physics research. It might help build quantum computers, it might not do anything, it might do something 1000 years from now on that we can't imagine. Science doesnt have very predictable return on investment. Thankfully mathematics itself is very cheap. It runs on donuts and coffee pretty much.

Most useful: set theory. I use it everyday. I use it to think about a topic objectively. If I'm reading a book on some topic, I think about at theory to determine if the book is shit or is it has something to say. It has directly affected how I view about a hundred different topics

If theres a minimal length like the Planck length then how can objects move? Like if you would move an atom exactly one Planck length forward how is the atom supposed to cover the distance between point A and B? Because it would clearly need to cover the entire way between point A und B to get there, but it cant because it has to somehow move directly from point A to B without moving inbetween those two points.
