Why doesn't the geometric series sum 1/(1-u) work for u>1? The demonstration in the image makes it seem like a general result, what am I missing? Don't all the terms cancel?

I've screwed up my Academic years royally, but this time I'm going to try and clean up a bit. I've decided to take the Electromagnetism & Linear Algebra/Analytic Geometry classes. My question is, which of the following should I also take
>Differential Equations
>Vector Analysis
I really need some help here. My life has been going downhill for 5 years now, I need to get back on the saddle.

Who is your favorite scientist, /sci/? Schrödinger is cool.

Two sound waves produce a third wave (this wave is technically produced by your mind as a perception). Two sounds therefore produce a third unique vibration only based on your perception. This vibration will be different every time. The same siblings are not the same person yet have near identical dna. So it is the same in this reality.
So i dont believe in determinism because combinations will produce seperate outcomes in every instance nomatter how slight and therefore makes manipulation and chaos easy
