What are some good textbooks for for learning math from the grassroots level in preparation for a major in comp sci? Especially books that include applications of the subjects per chapter.

When you consider V vijf, then IVXLCD equals 666 which doesn't have too much of a meaning.

Is all of physics just basically:

1. Assume thing behaves in a certain way and get a differential equation out of that
2. Solve differential equation to get function.
3. Do real life experiment and compare results to math function from 2.

Is there nothing else to physics? Is it all just differential equations?

Can you believe how amazing this shit is. Neuroplasticity. Its like magic. I can confirm first hand its real and not a meme.

I`ve just recovered from a serious illness because of it and regained balance and motor functions because of it. My brain literally re-wired itself and compensated.

Anyone else have experiences like this ?

There was a guy who fucked up the connection between his brain and body due to taking shady drugs and became vegetative for months, and later came out of it but with locked-in syndrome where everyone thought he was still vegetative but he actually could feel pain and talk to himself through his thoughts etc. He claims his IQ was much higher than it used to be when he came out of it.

my brother (17 at the time, brain aneurysma since birth discovered after the fact) had a stroke and compleately lost controll over his left body side, after a few month he was able to move the left side of his face and the fingers on his left hand again. Years of recovery and therapy he is basically a normal person again that can walk, run, catch a ball, and even play guitar again.

Your body can deal with free radicals to a certain degree. It evolved with the oxygen content of around 20%. Over a period of time breathing a higher (100%) concentration of oxygen will produce more free radicals in your body and the chances of them dealing damage on a cellular level increase rapidly as your natural mechanisms against this do not hold up at the same rate. Absolutely, but eventually oxidative damage starts giving you an illness more or less equivalent to radiation sickness. You don't die instantly or anything though, it's really just a progressive degradation. If anything you should be more worried about spontaneously combusting.

I'm not saying they have to be perfectly discrete groupings.
We define a species by forming a network of organisms. If organism A can breed with organism B. It is part of the same species. If C can breed with B. It is part of the same species. Even if A and C can't breed, since there is a link between them (B), they are part of the same species.
You really need to consider this concept.
We could have two humans produce an infertile child. That child, by the definition used for species, is incapable of breeding with anyone. Does this make that child outside that species? Is this conception of "species" correct?
