Parrarel EEPROM in DIP8

No.14222678 ViewReplyOriginalReport
I am designing a circuit that use small combitional logic "A XOR (B OR C)" and I need to implement it as small as possible. I can use single OR gate and single XOR gate but those will take 10 pins together [(VCC, GND, INPUT A, INPUT B, OUTPUT) x2]. I got idea about using the multiplexer with 3 bits for data selector and I would have connected the VCC or GND to the corresponding 8 data pins. It takes more space but I can connect it to the dip switches and have it configurable with 8 switches for any logic with 3 inputs and 1 output. But this would take also space for pull-down or pull-up resistors and if possible I would like to have possibility to change the logic and make it as small as possible.

I got the idea to use EEPROM with only 1 byte of memory so I could have the 8 bit multiplexer logic saved in such tiny IC. The question is wheater that tiny parraler EEPROM exist? The best would be in DIP8 [(VCC, GND, 3 INPUT, 1 OUTPUT, WRITE, READ) or something like this]. I know there are DIP8 I2C EEPROMs but I need a parrarel to make it compute those simple logic. It could be even just an EPROM so I would switch the chip from the socket for other ones.

Thank you for all of your suggestions. In the end I guess I will use just single gates but if there are such a tiny EPROMs please tell me what are those. I am also open for every other idea that could be simpler than 10 pins in total and would take as low power as possible.

>Smithsonian to display 120 orange statues of female scientists to celebrate Women's History Month

https://www.wbaltv.com/article/smithsonian-to-display-120-orange-statues-of-female-scientists-to-celebrate-womens-history-month/39047455#

WASHINGTON —
The Smithsonian will commemorate Women's History Month in March by displaying 120 life-size neon orange statues depicting women who have excelled in the fields of science and technology.

The 3D-printed statues will be displayed in the Smithsonian Gardens and in select museums in the Smithsonian network from March 5-27. A statement announcing the display called it "the largest collection of statues of women ever assembled together."

The statues will depict women who have excelled in STEM fields: science, technology, engineering and math. These range from Jessica Esquivel, one of only 150 Black women with a PhD in physics in the country, to Karina Popovich, a college student who produced over 82,000 pieces of 3D-printed PPE for healthcare workers in the early days of the pandemic.

Each statue will feature a QR code that links to the personal story of the depicted woman. The statues have been previously displayed in Dallas, and a handful of them were in New York's Central Park Zoo.

Ellen Stofan, the Smithsonian’s under secretary for science and research, said in a statement that the exhibit, “provides the perfect opportunity for us to show that women have successfully thrived in STEM for decades, while also illustrating the innumerable role models young women can find in every field,”

Have there been any studies into the age that a woman's skin most attractive to men? I've seen sexologists handwavingly claim that men find soft smooth skin attractive because it indicates female "youth" and "fertility" without explaining what is meant exactly by "youth" and "fertility". I imagine they probably mean mid-twenties or so because that's when a single act of intercourse is most likely to result in conception. If this is what they mean then I think they've got it very wrong.

The age that a woman's skin is at its most attractive is much lower than that. Women are using tiktok filters to make their skin look smoother and softer like a child's because they know men find it more attractive. They shave their bodies to look smooth and hairless like a child. And we used to have adverts like this promising to give women "baby soft" skin. Men wouldn't be interested in having baby soft immature-looking skin.

It would be nice if someone could run an actual study into this. Just show men a selection of skins from girls and women of all different ages and ask them to rate them. I think the skin of girls about 12 would get the highest ratings. Before puberty the skin is soft and smooth but has a kind of milky texture. When puberty kicks in the hormones give the skin a kind of glow or sparkle which fades by adulthood.

"Rachel represented Russia in this case, the poisoning of Navalny, and then after Vision #6 which was the poisoning came vision #7 where Rachel got into a big fight... I was thinking about Russia fighting a war or something similar, because of vision #7 coming after vision #6, and if Rachel was to represent the actor of Russia in that poisoning case, the next thing that happened in that vision was Rachel fighting against [Jennifer]." - September 27, 2020.

"I saw a girl who looked physically similar (but not identical) to Jennifer and she was acting differently as well. There was another person nearby and the three of
us were talking outdoors together. And then I saw the other person
leave and the woman stayed with me... and then I saw some semi-trucks sitting around outdoors and they were either on strike or something or I'm not sure exactly what happened. And then I woke up... I saw a huge line of semi-trucks sitting around doing nothing? Or they were maybe on strike or something? Not sure. " - September 25, 2021.

"I was in the back of a car looking out the window and Mr. Beast was out there inside of a white SUV car. And he then left the white big car and entered the car I was in with some other guy and he started to drive it. And he remotely closed the trunk which was open and somebody was using the trunk when he did it so I got nervous he cut the guys hands off but I think he was okay. Mr. Beast then drove us to the top of the mountain where it was snowy, and we started skiing down the mountain together. One guy was literally blindfolded and snowboarding slowly down the mountain. I think we were having a race. When we got to the bottom we got to some huge mansion and when I walked inside I started talking about my friend Jennifer." - November 18, 2021.

does /sci/ have some memory mnemonics way to memorize complex shapes like anatomy, machines? maybe from geometry?
pictured left here is my attempt to draw the right one from memory, and despite having high interest in memorizing them so i can draw without referencing, i quickly forget the subject and was pushed to fill in the blanks with things i know. the result is similar only in silhouettes but not details...

so i ask science for having so much matterial to remember,
would geometry know a way to memorize all these nooks and cranies of the form on the right, indentations, bevel and their positions, so that one can reproduce the subject into different angles casually and maintaining correct details?
