Not really. The important part with lasers is that you've got to maintain whatever you're pumping in an excited state, and every time light passes through it stimulates more emission.

Without something in between the mirrors that amplifies the light with every pass you just dissipate it all away.

the function doesn't necessarily represent "height". if it does represent height, you can rewrite it as a triple integral whose inner most bounds are your height function. the function you integrate can be any function of however many variables you're integrating.

Don't think of it this way. Think of it as cutting space itself into tiny pieces and taking a sum of the volumes of those pieces weighted by the value of the function. This intuition is unrelated to dimension, just imagine hypercubes instead of cubes.

The area/volume intuition is just to get you started, anyway. General integrals don't necessarily compute volumes.

Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science. Don't know what after though. I'm majoring in Math and the workload isn't troublesome at all. I've self-studied most the major's curriculum and I was labeled gifted throughout grade school.

look into getting into undergrad research. I'm not sure what undergrad research is like for a field as difficult as math though. if you want to stick with math you could even maybe just ask professors about resources to learn a particular area you are interested in. they will likely let you enroll in grad courses if you are doing well. more classes isn't necessarily the best way to do things, maybe double major or maybe just stick with math and try to go deeper in it.

Pick one to major in and one to minor in. If you feel very strongly about two of them, at most double major.
Don't triple major. It's a waste of time. Instead, do what you can feasibly do given the amount of time you've committed to college (typically 4 years and maybe a summer or two), get as many research internships as possible. Explore your interests in all three subjects by doing interdisciplinary research. That's how I did it.

If there are gasses that can destory ozone layer in what is almost a chain reaction. Would it be possible to use some sort of chemical to do the opposite - where that 'some sort of chemical' reacts with the gasses already present in the air, making the upper levels of atmosphere drastically denser - as a measure to protect earth from an asteroid - so it would burn up faster
