Seriously though, there are dozens if not hundreds of religions out there, and they have enough differences (while having many things in common) that one (or more?) of them could be correct while the others are still wrong.

And yet, it seems that it is many of their common concepts (soul, nature spirits, creator beings) that contradict our current understanding of the world.
