/SCI/ bros gtfo in here. This is a good idea imo and its being posited by Avi Loeb a well respected professor from Harvard. Avi is the former chair of Harvards Astronomy dept, authored over 900 research papers, and has chaired the Board of Physics and Astronomy of the National Academies. Hes obviously a sharp guy.

Thoughts??

Wouldn't work. The distance from the observer to the UFO is a function if resolving power. If you increase that, by some strange miracle the UFOs are always just further than you can clearly see. Invariably, if they are close enough to see clearly, they miraculously stop being UFOs.

Heres the problem with that, there has been a few situations where pilots do see them up close and still they remain unidentified.

So at this point isnt the logical next step to find ways to get more data on them? That’s basically what Avi is getting at here

Okay I don't fucking get how evolution on a huge scale or "macroevolution" can happen and when I look for evidence in favor or not in favor of evolution like this I can't get anything reliable, are there any recourses you guys have that actually go in depth on why or why not things like humans can come from something else or that a damn dinosaur can turn into a chicken. I'm good on what's called microevolution because that's just a fact we can see.

Then let's wave out hands a little bit and say that a 100% change in a species would constitute a new species (it's a lot more complex than that, but bear with me).
