Electric Field Strength EMP

No.13367717 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Electric field strength is measured in volts per meter (V/m), while magnetic flux density (magnetic field strength) is measured in volt-seconds per square meter (Vs/m^2). Electric fields and magnetic fields are three-dimensional fields. It makes sense to measure a magnetic field in terms of a cross-section to find the density of the field, but it doesn't make sense to measure an electric field one-dimensionally. Is the per-meter referring to to an individual ray of light? Also, is V/m used to measure the strength of things like radio frequencies and X-rays?

I don't get it, why go through all of this trouble instead of engineering photosynthesis capable microbes/plants that would remove all of the carbon dioxide? It would require so much less energy

Let's talk about gene editing/CRISPR

No.13367915 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Most people when they think of this probably think of the not so distant scenario where rich people are using it to make their children a few inches taller, 10 IQ points higher, resistant to certain diseases/autism etc.

But what about the next inevitable step. When we have mapped every gene to associated traits. When we know every gene that's associated with intelligence, and every other trait. When gene editing tech undergoes moores law-like growth and it's possible for every birth on earth to be heavily gene edited.

Everyone is just going to get some default birth configuration, with a 300 IQ, 6 foot 2, resistant to every disease, jawmaxxed etc.,

Why wouldn't differences between humans become minimal at this point? Why wouldn't everyone just be more or less identical clones of each other with maybe some superficial variation allowed?

And the Trannie Science is... Where?

No.13367970 ViewReplyOriginalReport
We're currently being browbeaten to death that we're supposed to accept trannies because... Politeness! Yet there's not a single study out there that says that trannie-ism is inevitable at birth.

Redpill me that there's a scientific basis for trannie-ism. Show me all of the studies, /sci/.
