Lads I'm here to ask for a good source on learning statics the first topic in civil and mechanical engineering. I've tried the text book for hibbler and its honestly no help for me. Every day for 2 months I've practiced 10 problems per hour on the basics of the subject. Vector calculus, kinematics of a rigid body or particle, word problems, light mechanics of materials problems for bending moments. Yet everytime I open a hibbler or ferdinand book I just freeze up and draw blanks for simple problems like pic related. This board got me through all my calculus material, general physics 1 and 2, autocad. Yet this class statics is where I truly am at a loss of options. Any suggestions for statics engineering bros? Fbd's are killing me for these pressure problems. I am unable to apply the theory to my problem solving even though I read constantly

Ritalin makes me depressed

I have memory issues, I am barely able to remember what I studied, you can imagine that this leads to problems in uni and therefor I am for 5 years in undergrad despite really working hard as fuck.
So I took Ritalin. It actually does improve my memory a bit, but the heavy downsight is that I sometimes randomly start to cry and "don't want to live anymore" or have to take a break to go to sleep.
It doesn't even reduces my appetite to anorexic levels or destroys my sleep pattern, neither does it influence my fitness, but for the one improvement I get, I get also a chemical imbalance and am more depressed than usual
