When I have to count a lot of items that are not in order I group the by 3. Is it high IQ? What about you?

I worked in a pharmacy for six months. I got extremely proficient at counting by groups of five. I started practicing counting by groups of ten, but I quit before I could get good at it.

I doubt any normal human can intuitively feel if number of items is 10, probably something like 7 or 8 would be the ceiling

I group by 3, 5 or 7 depending on the situation, but never by an even amount.

I avoid counting whenever possible but if I do need to then I just group nearby items in whatever sized groups they come within reason. Taking the picture as an example I'd sum it in groups of 2, 3, 4 and 5 I guess.
