>Why do people feel temperatures differently?
I am a southern brazilian, it's currently winter, and the temperature this year is falling close to 0°C where I live, sometimes even dipping into the negatives. This is stupid cold for me, i have to wear a bunch of clothing and even start a fire inside my house to heat myself up.
Also, during the summer the temperature always gets close 40°C. A day is only considered really hot if the temperature gets above 43°C. I bet if Europe had these temperatures every single year you would all die from hyperthermia. While we would only consider them particularly hot days.
Why does this happen though? Is it just a matter of being used to the temperature of where you live? If i moved to northern Norway or Sweden would i just magically develop resistance to cold temperatures? What about diseases? Would i also develop resistance to getting sick from exposure to the cold?
If the answer to the last question is yes, couldn't the same result be achieved by spending a lot of time inside a refrigerator?
Many questions. And yes i tried google, couldn't find a reasonable answer.

Taking Armodafinil for ADHD because Wellbutrin, Strattera and Adderall haven't worked. I don't feel anything from it, though. Am I doomed? Should I try Intuniv?
