If you made inferior races as intelligent as superior races, the inferior races would understand how much of a terrible burden they had been and kill themselves out of guilt for being so much of a source of misery for the rest of humanity. It would be cruel to boost their IQs.

There's no single gene for IQ. It depends hugely on nurture. There's a reason low IQ correlates with people born in poor households who can't provide adequate nutrition and proper environment.

You could have already erase the IQ differences between races via selective breeding centuries ago. But that didn't happen because that would mean increase competition for the limited top positions. What makes you think Crispr will resolve the issue when you still haven't confronted the competition issue yet?

Because the goal is not turn everyone into autistic geniuses. Just bumping (for example) the average African IQ to 100 would literally turn that continent into a paradise. The only groups that probably wont need Crispr are Europeans and far-east Asians (japs and koreans, still unsure of the chinks desu) since those 2 groups have already proven that they can have functional highly modernised societies.
