Aren't all properties technically extrinsic? I mean think about it, mass is an intrinsic property of all matter, but say we take a single electron and isolate it from all other electrons and matter, does it still have mass???? How can it have any properties unless we find another property to relate that property to? How could you measure it? You wouldn't have anything in reference to it to take any sort of measurment. The measurment itself, whatever number we assign, might be arbitrary, but its still able to tell us something about the object. How can it exist at all without the ability to exchange/transfer information??? Or am I just thinking about this all wrong? Please, I am on a genuine search for truth here and am open to critique or other opinions.

Africans vs. Asians, archaic ancestry

No.13659579 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Africans have an ancient archaic ancestor (not yet found)
Asians (including euros) have ancient neanderthal ancestors

1) Is this gulf in archaic ancestry the reason for the huge genetic distance between Africans and (eur)Asians?

2) What would our genetic map look like if you isolated the purely Human parts of African and eurAsian DNA? (IE: blotted out the Deni-Neander and the ghost African)

How much of paleontology is just fan fiction versus provable fact?
Can we really know the behavior, diet, lifespan, etc. from some bones that are not exactly common?
It’s not like we have 10,000 T-Rex skeletons to be able to compare with one another and see what commonalities there are within the species.
I am skeptical. But maybe I am wrong. Somebody enlighten me on the process if so.
We barely know anything about many species living in the ocean other than that they exist
