My psychiatrist said that I might be a schizoid after hearing my political opinions. Couldn't make that up. How can anyone take psychiatry seriously? It's literally designed to make you conform to whatever bullshit is imposed to you and label you as unhinged if you don't.

Keeping a severed head alive on an arm/leg

No.13689131 ViewReplyOriginalReport
I saw this pic a while ago and ever since have been wondering; is it possible to keep a head alive by connecting the arteries in it's neck to the arteries in the arm or leg of another person with the same blood type?
The blood would be oxygenated after all, but would the blood flow be enough to keep the brain conscious? Or would the arteries in the arms/legs not be sufficient to pump blood to a brain? If they are sufficient, then hypothetically could the head be kept alive indefinitely just living off the oxygenated blood and nutrients from the host body?
Obviously the head wouldn't be able to talk due to the lack of lungs or vocal chords, but the idea of someone being a mute head hand could make for decent existential body horror.

The "things" of the real world are not "matter". They are color, sound, taste, touch, (as well as infinitely many others we cannot imagine).
This simple truth has been hidden from you and inverted to keep you from finding it.
Even now your programming is kicking in forcing you to want to laugh and reject the idea without giving it a single serious consideration.

But from those things any possible reality may be built, including all possible realities of matter, as well as infinitely many different _kinds_ of realities that don't behave like matter.
How could any theory be more robust than the very thing which tells you what reality you're living in in the first place? After all, the only reason you think you live in a world of "matter" is because you observe behaviors from which you infer it.

You have never once in your entire life observed matter.
You have only inferred matter from your real observations of color, sound, touch, etc.
These things cannot be defined within this reality because they are the axioms that create it.
