If they wouldnt do this, some very intelligent people would probably become troublesome to the elites. These are fake and gay:

-Space and cosmos research (NASA etc) this keeps quite intelligent people occupied
-Modern Physics is fake (CERN etc)
-Classic Physics (3000 years ago and later up until 1960s) works fine.
-Psychology for the most part is fake but some of it is true and the true part is now used to rule over majority of people and to control masses, evil people are mostly occupied with these and use it for power grabs to satisfy their own egos
-The social studies, female and gender studies and whatnot, are obvious fakes, but this involves only retards anyway, however universities are filled with this type

These may be actually true:

-Biological theories involving which animal is related to another and how. Why is it true? Well nobody gains any kind of advantage from this as long as we dont peek onto white peoples and black peoples genetic relations. This wont keep mathematical minds preoccupied, its harmless and innocent field. There is no true need to stop these researchers or mislead them.

-Chemistry is true. Chemistry however is the tool for those insane with power. Because drugs come ultimately from chemistry. Anyway there is too much harm in twisting chemistry into something that doesnt work. It would do the elites more harm than good if chemistry is turned into parody of itself like has been done with physics.
