Age old question: what considers a number.

I would say only naturals and unsigned reals have this clean property. Others having this much mental gymnastics can't make into a number itself.

Compositions of them, perhaps. But not itself.

Something weird is happening on /sci/. Genuine threads about science are being deleted while /x/ shizo threads and /pol/ threads are staying up. Threads about Atlantis and Charlie Manson are science but not evolution isn't?

I know this isn't exaxtly /sci/ related, but please hear me out. I would like to learn how to learn properly. Anytime I try to learn math or any type of science, I always end up stumbling around like a drunk mentally and it might take me a couple of days to finally understand what it is I'm learning about. Is there any way that I could improve my learning abilities?

Why is it so damn hard to scan and simulate the human brain?
And why isn't that literally the only thing every scientist works on all day?

Killing a perfect copy

No.14220900 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Say a perfect copy of an individual could be manifested. Would it be the case that the two consciousnesses of those two individuals would be identical in the first second of existence?

Now say one of those individuals must die in the following second. If the copy is indistinguishable from the original in every way, then would there be any difference between killing the copy and killing the original?
