As BA.2 subvariant of Omicron rises, lab studies point to signs of severity

No.14242458 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Well then, it's good that they are removing mask requirements in so many states so that this more lethal and transmissible variant will have lots of human fuel to really run rampant.

Female dating preferences / Biology

No.14241250 ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
Hi, can someone who knows their stuff in biology help me understand the following.

I always believed that the average woman prefers confidence and height in their partner because they selected that way in the past, because such a mate would in theory be able to protect you better. But then I was told that women never really selected in the past, because when we are apes and even after that, the strongest male would just impregnate the women no matter what they thought about that. So from a biological point of view did women EVOLVE to find certain traits attractive (if so... how? if they couldn't resist the strongest man anyway) or is it just cultural.

Cringe man. Cringe thumbnail. Cringe video.

Breadtube sucks asshole. Reminds me of those parody videos hydewars is posting with the pumpkin. I’m not anti-vax, but this is hardly a “measured response”. It mostly focuses on the vaccines cause autism meme, when nobody cares about that anymore. Dumb fucking cracker. I keep seeing this on YouTube (I don’t have an account, so it’s not personalized).

wonder if the VAIDs is to kill off donor immune systems? So that their organs won't cause quite as much trouble when transplanted? Maybe the sprotiene can help mask the cells from the Transplant immune system too by binding to..
White people aren't good for their offspring: since they oppose men marrying their young girls. So what are white people good for?

Microscopy

No.14243833 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Hey all, so I got an MA300 Microscope viewing camera a while back and have been fiddling with it. I got a few pictures and videos of what I'm pretty sure are macrophages, but the framerate can usually only go up to ~6 max and ~3.7 avg. Does anyone else experience this or know how to maybe up the frames?
Also here's an image I took. Sadly the video was shot in high res so it's too big to show.
