The Weather Channel's website has become more and more useless over time, and most other sites I've seen have followed suit; locking any of the useful tools behind a premium paywall. What site do any of you use for the weather for free? I really want a site with a good weather radar. I'm in the US, NYC area.

NWS has lots of data directly available to the public but the presentation of it isn't as pretty as the commercial sites. If you know anything about programming, you could scrap/use APIs for NWS data and make your own presentation of weather data for your area.

did it ever occur to you that your brain generates what you experience as reality constantly? It's basically converting raw data from your terahertz(iirc that's roughly visible light) radar arrays (the eyes) into datasets that it can work with. Your brain's whole purpose is making you see a world which your body can then navigate for the purpose of reproduction and consumption. Schizo are just defective, that's all there's to it, they don't spend extra resources, they just do the above "wrong".

isn't that more or less depending on what kind of things you see? I am probably undiagnosed schizophrenic, for me it's thinks like traffic light showing red until in notice everybody walking except for me, then I look again and it's green, and I don't mean it in the way that I'm to retarded to anticipate the green phase, I have been looked at as if something is wrong with me a few times and waited precisely for it to turn green but it didn't. Or object missing which are clearly there like asking for a fork just for people to point one out in front of me. I have learned to overplay this and it only happens in a way that's noticeable to myself when I'm extremely exhausted but it's def unnerving.

That "variable" is a placeholder for a real number. Second two functions f, and g are equal if f(a)=g(a) for all real numbers a. The use of an unspecified/"arbitrary" real number to perform the algebra according to the properties of addition and multiplication of real numbers is not circular. The proof is valid and correct.

A "variable" is an unspecified real number. You just fix x=1, x=e, x=3/2, etc. as needed for a numerical calculation.

You can do this with the definitions of addition and multiplication of integers, expand it to the rationals with all appropriate definitions of operations (this is done with a rings of different sorts and an associated fraction-rings in many graduate courses), then use the cauchy sequence definition of the real numbers to prove the property via its definition of addition and multiplication using the rational definitions.
