i have a screen made of two variable, UV and a 3d space array of XYZ coordinates. i need to create a decent projection on UV screen based on XYZ coordinates to make a feel of perspective, either orthographic, isometric, as long as the 3d space is shown correctly.

How is the equation written and how do you come up with it? matrix or algebra, how do you infer your variabels, operands and data from to construct the correct projection?

Have we been taken over by aliens 40 years ago? You know updates in technology seems way too fast.

Human Experimentation

No.13350193 ViewReplyOriginalReport
When I look up this topic, I can't seem to find a legitimate answer.

Question - If the scientific community/governments had no ethical issue with voluntary human experimentation, where would we be now? Are there any specific scenarios you know of, where it would've just been easier to get a live human?

It's said that we share a lot of genetic similarities with mice, thus that's why we utilize them. But at the end of the day they're still fucking mice. I just find it super hard to believe that it's more efficient to use mice than to grab death row prisoners.

Anyone got any good sites for laser safety goggles to recommend? Styropyro decided to remove the goggles destruction video and I was too much of a brainlet to save the site apparently.
I'll be honest, I'm scared someone will just use a high power laser at an open place full of people and just mass-blind them and I wanna have a snowball's chance in hell than no chance in hell.

High altitude nukes

No.13354229 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Could the detonation of a single 2nd or 3rd gen nuclear weapon in high altitude/border of space like the starfish prime and fish bowl tests result in nations being technologically crippled? How many of these blasts would be necessary to cripple the entire globe, most of our communications and chips and such or is that too hard to estimate? Could a single rogue nation with a MIRV set us back decades by doing this?
