I was just hoping that we could create a thread specifically about PhD mentorship. People with PhD's can discuss their experiences and answer questions for people who are starting their PhD's and just have general discussions.

Me personally: Starting a PhD in the fall and having a little bit of anxiety about it. I've never been a teaching assistant before and nobody has really reached out to me about what the work is going to consist of.
