New Theory of Migraines

Hypothesis Concerning the Root Cause of Migraines and Potential Pathways to a Universal Cure
“We don’t really know what causes migraines.” Is a phrase tossed around quite a bit in the medical community at present. How can it be that after decades of research, we are still not substantially closer to a solution than we were 30 years ago? A wide range of synthetic and natural pharmacological approaches have yielded only marginal results and have done nothing to advance the science of neurology vis a vis migraines. As with so much of the modern medical establishment, the migraine science of today revolves entirely around throwing novel chemical compounds at the problem rather than trying to genuinely understand root causes. It is only by understanding the root cause of migraines that a treatment may be possible, and I submit to you this day that we already have the technical capability to craft a cure… our scientists simply need a nudge in the right direction. This posting will serve as that nudge. Once again, the world’s Ph.D holders’ collective hands need to be held and they need to be led directly to the solution to a problem that has caused a great deal of human misery. So sit down, strap in, and enjoy your gratis breakthrough and the laurels it brings for whoever claims it as their own. (By all means, continue stealing ideas and claiming them as your own, this is America after all.)

Growing the penis

No.13395638 ViewReplyOriginalReport
So this dude and his team is known for research into longevity and trying to slow down and even revert aging.

He and his team managed to revert rat neurons to youthful stage where they regained the regenerative capabilities of young rat neurons. It was done by inserting 3 genes that produced yamanaka factors into the rat neuron. Yamanaka factors are also used when turning adult cells into induced pluripotent stem cells.

So it seems yamanaka factors can be used to rejuvenate cells. Now this could maybe be used in dealing with cell senescence where cells lose function as the individual ages and accrues DNA damage and epigenetic additions. You'd essentially restore cell function that was lost due to old age.

However, what if this could turn the cells of the penis back to a state where they respond to certain stimuli with growth? You could do something like this:
>Rejuvenate cells of penis to a state where they grow in response to certain hormones
>Treat the individual with various hormones to induce growth of the penis
>Repeat if needed

Discuss.

Do these shots not work? What's the point of getting them?

Why do humans actually enjoy having their feelings played with.

No.13398103 ViewReplyOriginalReport
In the most scientific, and objective way. Read (Title). Most easily seen in the humanities, their entire purpose is to induce an emotional state. Why would people enjoy this, it can't be as simple as people want to feel like >insert feeling here<. I feel as though there must be some deeper meaning to this mess.
