yes. cancer cells use up any resources they can, be it materials, space, etc. without regard to the functioning of the system that enables acquisition of these resources. eventually the whole thing hits a limit and crashes. no more organism or cancer cells.

Many worlds is most closest imo. The reason we see each other and not our other worldly parts may simply be due to entanglement. There is determinism at super state level, aka multiverse, and local states lack the deterministic part due to missing/hidden variable aka the other states(many world). The process of entanglement likely happens more frequently at lower level physics than macro world physics. The collapse doesn't happen. The split happens, decoherence can be good way to explain it as it's already proven.
