If Einstein discovered relativity in 2022, do you think he would be able to publish it?

Modern Stimulation is disrupting sleep and presenting as ADHD.

No.14340394 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Please feel free to dive into your own experiences with your friends and family and further inform me.

I'm thoroughly convinced that most people into their early 30s who are on adderall or currently dosing meth are suffering from a grave mistake in understanding behavioral patterns caused by entire generations (perhaps since the dawn of capitalism) deprioritizing sleep, giving them issues with memory, focus, and, perhaps most unfortunately, further sleep.

Since the advent of screens (TV first, perhaps earlier), not just "blue light" (more like "red herring) has been stimulating people during their later hours, and students are especially caught up in late nights. The idea that you're a "night owl" is everpresent, and further enforced by the fact that you're just up in the lights, caught in both social and pseudosocial stimulation that keeps you going.

Think about it--and this is where I'm going to lose a bunch of structure--why the fuck are people utterly dependent on caffeine in modern societies? You're not a fucking "morning person?" Oh, could it be because you haven't ever learned what the fuck to do with a bed to not seem utterly obliterated at all hours?

Furthermore, consider the drinking and eating habits of most people in America, let alone the European sphere: Fat, drunk bastards have sleep apnea. Even when you win the fucking lottery and get eight hours, it's fucking stolen from you by your goddamned liver.

I'll re-read and expand soon.

What is the deal with grid storage?

No.14342475 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Solar panels and Wind are perfectly economical given that it is sunny or the wind is blowing. We could eliminate the need for baseload power(e.g. natural gas) if we have enough grid storage. But, right now there is hardly any grid storage. There is a lot of focus on things like pumped hydro which (highly geographically limited), and chemical batteries. These and many others(lol flywheels) seem like bad solutions. I would think that grid storage should actually be fairly easy. Why don't we start building massive hydrogen tank farms for power to gas? I would also think you could just build a giant insulated water tank and heat it up. Then, get the the power back with sterling engines. Alternatively, you could keep the water under pressure so that it is a liquid above 100 C and release the pressure and get back the power with steam. Why build lithium batteries when a giant water tank would scale a million times easier(in b4 efficiency)?

physics behind angle of penetration

No.14343164 ViewReplyOriginalReport
at what angle exactly are you supposed to push during sex ? assume missionary position and suppose your dick is pointed 45 degrees below the horizontal, at this point you have three options 1)push at exactly 45 degrees 2)push below 3)push above

obviously 1) isnt correct but i was trying 2) at first and It felt somewhat good but I wasnt actually penetrating her at which point she told me to push above but all that was happening was it was bouncing off which brings the question, are you supposed to place your penis at such an angle where it bounces off some arbituary spot near the opening and into the vagina as you push past the arbituary spot which creates a paraboloid trajectory into the hole ?

>Okay, firstly, the decision to stop calling Pluto a planet had no effect on Pluto itself, it’s still the same object it was yesterday, the change is just a human bureaucracy thing. It didn’t shrink because of a pen stroke. But even if that were true, this act of "reclssseslying" (it’s spelt "reclassifying", btw) did not kill "billions of people there" because, and I can’t get this through your thick fucking skull any sooner, NO ONE FUCKING LIVES THERE. And no me saying this is not "genocide denial" either you dumb fucking retard.

Do people unironically take notes in latex? Why don't they just use a pen and a notebook? To all latex note-takers: please explain your reasons for taking notes in latex.

Why am I so unintelligent? Every day I fail at things which only require basic elementary logic. I can't even win at a stupid tank shooter game online. Superbrains on the internet always brag about how high their IQ is and how anyone with an IQ under 140 should be enslaved and removed from the genepool. Thing is, you guys have no idea what kind of suffering a low IQ individual like me has to go through. This shit actually sucks. Life fucking sucks. I want to kill myself, but I am too pussy to. Is there a way to increase intelligence? Some kind of scientifically proven method? At this point, I am willing to be a guinea pig, so I will try any suggestions you have.

The case for "it never ends" is strong. But the question remains: does it loop, or does it never repeat itself?
