time dilation and light clocks

No.13459454 ViewReplyOriginalReport
I don't understand why all explanations of time dilation and experiencing time differently at different speeds use light clocks in the explanations, but I'm also retarded.
If God or an all-knowing outside observer were keeping time, would the examples still hold, or does light need to be involved

I feel like I'm a failure because I don't have a job yet. I graduated in May, fixed my resume in June, and have applied to every job on career builder and indeed. I've only heard back from one place that couldn't make it to the interview. There doesn't seem to be any industry where I'm from, and I'm thinking about applying out of state.
My parents keep telling me in not trying hard enough and it hurts.
Is anyone else in the same boat or have any advice for finding a job?

Anyone got links to good peer reviewed articles on how unsustainable and un-environmentally friendly meme """renewable""" energy shit is? Bonus if it includes how economically disastrous it is for funding this meme shit through tax payers grants.
I'm specifically looking at how they all require exorbitant amounts of materials which require heavy polluting processing -- especially rare earth metals, they provide fuck all power, they provide unreliable power, and solar specifically only provides power during the time no one is using it making it necessary to spend more money and resources on batteries, wind turbines break down pretty much constantly and just get dumped in landfills (after massacring thousands of birds), and it's all in all just a political money laundering scheme for actual retards who got spooked by (((fear mongering))) nuclear power.
A lifecycle analysis of how much pollution and money it takes to construct vs how much power it actually produces before ultimately being dumped in a landfill compared to clean coal or even better, nuclear, would be cool.

What is a really easy and simple unsolved math problem I can solve so that way I can feel like I contributed something to humanity's overall knowledge, regardless of how useless it is.
