It will probably never make economic sense for humans to colonize any other planets or moons. I think the best thing we could do is seed all the bodies in our solar system with bacteria and water bears and other primitive life that might have a chance of survival, and hope in a billion years they've evolved into intelligent life that we can trade resources and technology with.

Yes it is possible and even easy at some point but still not economicalky useful. Just sand a ship with lots of eggs and sperm, same for cattle, chickens and tgen seeds from plants and then artifically breed the first few generation. But it would take hudreds thousand years to function and everything blindly. Very difficult but not impossible

There is incomprehensibly much living space in our solar system. The asteroid belt alone, comprised of 0,5% of the mass of the Moon, has enough resources and space for quadrillions of humans.
We will almost certainly use light-sails pushed on by a stellaser in order to reach interstellar cruising speeds, sizable fractions of lightspeed, and either a drone-built stellaser at the destination system or some kind of fusion drive to decelerate. It's doable but the scale is very large, it's a problem for the coming thousands of years not for us.
