Can someone explain 4d to me?
Isn't the 4d thing in pic related still 3d? I mean I can still determine each point in the room with a combination of 3 linearly independent unit vectors

When wanting to understand/learn a new STEM field, what approach would you take? Would you pick up an elementary book on some first principles of that discipline, or would you instead look up journal and/or conference papers and attempt to understand them. This latter way, you will look up whatever you do not immediately understand and learn the field that way.

I am looking to perform some distillations via a probably a 2000ml round bottom flask distillation setup for isopropanol purification.
Hello all, I am a /tg/ anon and I do a rather significant amount of 3D printing. Lately my printing has ramped up to almost 24/7 and, as I use 99% isopropyl alcohol to clean my prints, I am going through a metric fuckload of IPA. Normally I would UV blast my old IPA to remove the majority of the resin and then filter it through coffee filters but this has two issues
1) it's fucking messy and gets resin infused IPA on myself and my sink
2) I lose a LOT of my IPA doing it via this method because filtering takes for fucking ever and spillage, even if a small amount, happens.
So I have been looking into different methods of recycling my IPA that has a higher long term return on investment and loses less of my product too. This lead me to look into a distillation setup to remove the resin particulate instead. Now unfortunately I didn't go to school for chemistry, so I don't know where to buy reasonably priced glassware and I also don't know the best kind of distillation setup for what I want to do. As of right now I think a graham condenser on a 2000ml round bottom flask in a hot water bath leading to another 2l round bottom to catch the IPA is correct?

Is your 30s too old to go back to college?

Something about being around late-teens and early-20-somethings makes me feel creepy.

so let me get this straight
> both vaccinated and unvaccinated can transmit the delta variant at the same rate
> vaccinated still need to wear a mask and follow distance rules
> but I, a healthy 31yo who already had very mild covid last year, need to take an experimental vaccine to protect others and stop the spread
am I getting this right ?
