If Rabbi Yeshua was God, sent by God or whatever, why did he failed to mention that people who were demonic possessed were in fact mentally ill?
Didn't God know this?

mRNA vaccines and female fertility

No.13662988 ViewReplyOriginalReport
My gf doesn't want to get the vax but in a month she'll be required to by law (all workers in Italy will have to be vaccinated or get tested 3 times a week unless they work from home). At her age (early 20s) the only vaccines being administered are Pfizer and Moderna. She doesn't want to get the vax because she's heard of women having issues with their period after getting it and she's afraid it might affect her fertility.
Is there any evidence showing whether these vaccines do or do not affect the ability to get pregnant?

How can I solve this problem?
Is there any specific knowledge (other than basic linear algebra and Gaussian method) necessary in order to solve this system?

Quantitative methods for decision making

Can anyone explain the train of thought going on here? Why we subtract 20$ from 75$ in the true statement and why do we multiply by 20 and not 35 in the false statement? These are the solutions of our professor and are supposedly correct.

Hey /sci/, I've been doing a lot of thinking lately and was wondering why there are so few notable geniuses or savants in the modern population despite there being billions of people in the world. What happened to all the Mozarts and Beethovens, the Einsteins and Darwins, the Michelangelos and da Vincis? Are we truly living through a dysgenic cycle or are exceptionally smart and talented people just not spotlighted as much as they used to be? It seems that even 70 years ago you still had exceptionally talented people coming to the fore to redefine the paradigm or make monumental discoveries. Even the average joe seemed exceptionally more aware of their general environment than the average person today. It makes me think about the years after the collapse of the Western Roman Empire, in which there were only a handful of notable thinkers or artists compared to before the collapse. To make a long story short, where have all the talented and smart people gone?

No.13658688 ViewReplyOriginalReport
>be me
>be invited to old friend's a few years ago
>mention CRISPR to his family at dinner
>his 12-year-old daughter thought it was really cool
>does science fair project on it
-FAST FORWARD TO THIS WEEK-
>going to see them again
>friend hopes I'll have some cutting-edge stuff like CRISPR to tell his now-16-year-old about
>evidently she's really into genetics and bio-chem partly due to her CRISPR interest
BUT
>I don't have anything
>but want to stoke this kid's interest in science
...So I'm hoping you guys can tip me to some of today's forward-looking science, esp in the genetics, bio-chem fields?
She's a top student and probably knows more than I do, but I'd like to offer something.
Will give full credit to you guys and this place, of course!
