Designing a small molecule with the same functions of an enzyme

No.13678749 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Would it be theoretically possible to take the atomic structure of an enzyme, and use it to design a small molecule that does the same job as the enzyme itself, but in a "smaller package"?

Questions to destroy everything we know about physics

They say that F = ma, force is equal to mass times acceleration. That means that my fist hitting your face at a slow but accelerating rate rate of 20 miles per hour should hurt MORE than my fist going at your face at a steady and constant rate of 300 miles per hour. Because acceleration at a constant speed is 0, the force of that latter punch should be equal to the mass of my hand times 0, which we all know is 0, which means the punch would have 0 impact. Does that mean that if my fist were decelerating, it would have a negative force, somehow imploding and absorbing kinetic force power from your face? No! That doesn't make any sense!
Don't think I've forgotten about you, theoretical physicians. Riddle me this: Time is relative to gravity, yeah? Then how do we know that the universe is 4 billion years old? Huh?

Let's talk about last month in science.
Any major papers/developments missing here?

Why are so few people integrating such scientific knowledge into Wikipedia? And why isn't science like this being covered in common newscasts on TV and in paper-newspapers?

What do you think of current scientometrics and current ways research is evaluated, selected/popularized and incentivized? I mostly check scienceopen.com - what are some similar sites to find top papers or for general open science?

>hehe quarks have flavors and colors so funny XD
>also you have to rotate them twice to look the same XD
They're just inventing bullshit as they go to get funding. It doesn't even explain the most basic force, gravity, to begin with.
