Sleep Thread

Why do you feel more tired and less functioning during the day when you sleep for 6 hours wake up then sleep for another 3 hours contrary to just sleeping 6 hours and waking up? Also what are some tips to get a good night sleep? Sleep is unironically more important than food if you want to function properly during the day in my experience
