I want to learn:
Lineal algebra->Calculus->Statistics->Machine Learning.
In that order, but i'm so lazy and retarded to do it. Is it there a painless way to kill myself?

can /sci/ explain this? not the /x/ bit -- but the practical bit? why is it scientifically necessary to go that far back if the contagion spreads from aerosoled particles?

12 Math Books in 12 Months

No.13683991 ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
Starting October 1st I am going to try to read one math book every month starting with Howard Anton's Elementary Linear Algebra, the 4th edition. There are 9 chapters, with 51 total sections. I will try to read 2 sections a day and do as many practice problems as I can. I will post a sort of "book club" thread regularly for anyone who wants to participate in this "challenge"

>But I can't get the book
Yes you can retard, http://libgen.li/ads.php?md5=040587e289fb9ca133a7c7ed2dcd7950
Free 5th version, library genesis is amazing.

I am still in school and probably won't be able to go at the pace I want, but I know some of your lazy asses have plenty of time.

Human taste and health

What's up with so many people (I wish I could say just children but it's a lot of adults as well) hating greens? In natural selection, wouldn't it be better if we thought green vegetables were fucking delicious?
Presumably we find meat, fat and sugar tasty because we need some of it in our diet. Is it just that in terms of modern living we've got so much access to those foods (and all the chemical supplements that come with them) that actually nutritious food just seems bland in comparison?
