Why do cars emit CO2?

If you have a car, you go to the gas station anyway, to get new gasoline. Why couldn't you have three tanks?

Theoretically, maybe two if you mix the gasoline and oxygen, or if you let waste flow back into the oxygen tank.

Then you'd just clear out all the tanks when you get to the gas station. Would be some work, but less than electric cars.

forced induction works by forcing more air in, it does not select specifically for oxygen.

a gallon of gas produces about 18 pounds of CO2 when burned.
Good luck pressurizing 300 pounds of CO2 per tank, it'll absolutely destroy your efficiency to the point even shitty electrics would have better range.

CO2 would be a useful gas to capture for safety features.
Car starts on fire -> blast CO2 on it.

Also, the CO2 is already pressurized some as it comes out of the exhaust. Some of the CO2 could be routed to a baffle, that pressurizes the air intake every stroke. The engines would probably have to be redesigned, though.

Wise words right here. IQ tests were first designed to detect people with low IQ. From average score onward, it just mostly show how good you are at taking IQ tests.

Exactly, and I think that studying mathematics helps with taking IQ tests, take pic related for example, it's just cyclic permutations

I was taking minocycline for inflammatory problems along with acne, 200 mg per day for 6 months. I just recently noticed grey discoloration on some of my teeth, I'm 90% sure it's due to the antibiotic so I discontinued use right now. It's very minor compared to other pictures I've seen online, will it go away with time?

Doc warned me about taking high doses, should have listened.

What do you think about solving crystal structures from powder diffraction data?
Is a crackhead way of crystallography, shamanistic smoke reading or a good method when you have to do without a monocrystal?
And does this method have a future potential or is it waste of time?

powder X-Ray is really nifty stuff, because you get flexibility and temporal resolution that you don't really get anywhere else. Want to check out phase transitions at different temperatures? Want to follow reactions in sold-state chemistry? Want to quickly check the crystallinity of your material? powder XRD has you covered.

What powder XRD can't do is completely "solve" crystal structures. You can determine the crystal system, measure the key parameters of the unit cell and compare the obtained reflexes against a database. Then again, you can literally grind up any random rock you find outside and it will give you a reasonable powder x-ray that allows quick identification, even with complex mixtures.

Debye-Scherrer is a diffractometer geometry, where you place your powder sample in the middle of a ring of photographic film, it used to be quite common, but since we have good scinitillation x-ray detectors nowadays, most powder x-rays use Bragg Brentano geometry

pic related, it's a Debye-Scherrer camera. The sample goes in the middle, photographic film on the outside, shoot some x-rays into the middle, develop the film and you're done

This is a Bragg Brentano 2 theta XRD. The x-ray source and the detector rotate around the sample, which is deposited on a flat static sample holder.
What you get from the instrument is a plot of x-ray intensity against angle

You can solve it, I solved multiple structures starting from grinded sea shell through simple oxalate hydrates of lanthanudes to organometallic complexes but people at my department dont acknowledge powder structures even with R-factor around 3.5... Is it diffrent at other places? Is it worth putting more time into it?
