I'm taking Introduction to Mathematical Proof at my university and I have almost no idea what's going on. We just finished set theory and set operations and I still choke on every proof that I get. I've met with a tutor for homework and suggested problems and he said that I don't know when to "summon" concepts for proofs.

Any advice?
