Osteopathic and medical doctors have the same licensing exams and residency requirements osteopathic schools just have different histories and some teach massage therapy. A DO is as qualified to manage patients in a hospital or family practice setting as an MD. My internist is a DO for example and does not prescribe alternative medicines at all. Antibodies are proteins which bind to specific targets (antigens). Monoclonal means you're working with a single specific antibody instead of variety of different ones with different targets.

Monoclonal antibody treatments have found use in a number of circumstances especially for things such as autoimmune, asthma, eczema, cancer treatment and fighting off some infections.

I'd also add that most monoclonal antibodies on the market actually don't target microorganisms. They target inflammatory cytokines (like IL-6, which is implicated in a lot of the lung damage done during a COVID infection). Most or all of the damage done to lung tissue during COVID is from the immune system's reaction to the virus rather than the virus itself.
