MAJOR SHUTDOWN OF THE MEDICAL INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX IN 8 STATES
https://www.kptv.com/news/kaiser-permanente-health-care-workers-vote-to-approve-strike/article_f1416bca-2aa6-11ec-97e2-fbc04663f50e.html?block_id=994431

3,400 Kaiser Permanente nurses and other health care professionals have voted to authorize a strike, according to the union that represents those workers.

>Over the past week, members of Oregon Federation of Nurses and Health Professionals voted digitally on the strike. Voting finished on Sunday night, and OFNHP says there was a 90 percent participation rate, with 96 percent voting yes.

>"Our members turned out in record numbers to say that they are willing to do what it takes to save patient care in Oregon," says Jodi Barschow, a Kaiser Sunnyside RN and President of the Oregon Federation of Nurses and Health Professionals, AFT, AFL-CIO. "Kaiser’s proposals would be a disaster for Oregon’s entire care system and show a profound disrespect for the frontline healthcare workers who are risking their lives during COVID."

>The two sides were at odds over what each side considers "safe staffing."

How do I get into math?
I'm not really bad at it, nor do I have a bad arithmetic IQ, but I have never mustered the same interest that I have for, say, philosophy, history, linguistics.
I usually saw it as a chore and would get good grades only with a superficial and temporary understanding, such as by backtracking solutions. Is there a "beauty" to math that I've just never noticed?

what does /sci/ think is going on with this website?
http://www.973-eht-namuh-973.com/

there are literally hundreds of cryptic pages you can find if you click around. wtf is this shit?

there is also a forum you can find but it’s filled with schizos. regardless the website has a ton of obscure shit and cryptographic puzzles that aren’t part of the forum. that’s what i’m curious about (?)
