Does the Impact-Origin of Life Hypothesis state that there were alien organisms present inside the asteroids or comets that landed on earth and then made evolution possible?
Or is it based solely on the amount of heat they created which made the process of evolution possible with organisms already existing on earth?
I've heard people saying that the primordial soup was introduced by a foreign factor that is out of this earth, is that an misunderstanding of the concept?

I found this textbook in pdf format on the internet a year ago or so and failed to save it. But now I need it real bad. Does anyone now what I am talking about?
These lectures were compiled by some Stanford or MIT professor and made available to the public, i.e. free access.
