What kinds of people would sign up to be sent in a space ship that would serve in a one way trip to Mars to become the first colony on that planet?
I would imagine such people wouldn't have much going on in their lives.

I just realized, scientifically, the only possible way to colonize space would be to have space ships with an all female crew who would become the male Captain's harem.

It would be the only logical way to colonize space. You need as many fertile females as possible. You only need one sperm donor. Each ship would have the best possible male specimen. The ships would trade babies to maintain genetic diversity to prevent inbreeding.

This is the only way, because Science!

Can /sci/ do probability yet?

You are traveling through a rainforest when you are bitten by a venomous snake. You know the female of a certain species of frog produces an antidote for the venom and you can save yourself by licking it. You also know that the only way to distinguish males from females from afar is that only males of this species croak, croaking is random and independent of other frogs, and that the population is evenly split between males and females and can be considered arbitrarily large. You hear some croaking behind you and turn around to see two frogs of this species. What is the probability they are both male?

"code switching" aka "speaking intelligibly and communicating effectively in a professional setting even if you don't bother at home" is the latest new front in the academic culture wars.
how does /sci/ feel about this? are you prepared to accept academic publications written in ebonics in order to placate the negroes? surely this one final step will finally placate them after all.

I genuinely don’t believe normal people actively use social media

No.14386882 ViewReplyOriginalReport
I just can’t believe something like that’s possible. I’m trying to become a normal person but the idea of normies(god I hate that word) spending hours of their time on shit like TikTok or Snapchat or i don’t fucking know what’s trending anyways if people still use Skype, each day is just

I can’t believe it’s true. It’s understandable when imageboard users and Reddit fags spend their time all day shitposting but when others do it it just doesn’t feel right or plausible

Shouldn’t they be having sex, working that kinda shit?
