Is there such a thing like a legit, scientific Love Research Institute?
I've been trying to find it on google, but all i get are christian fanatics, random therapies not even related to love and scams.

I expect there should be something of this sort, given how important, complex and simply interesting love is.
Any tips on where or how to find it will be much appreciated

yeah, i'm interested in the social/psychological and generally 'humane' aspects

asking because we are deeply in love with my gf. it goes to insane levels and we were considering joining some research and/or reading up more about the subject from scientific perspective

At least in my field (biological sciences; genetics/molecular/cell bio), a masters is basically useless. It's better to go BS -> industry, or BS -> PhD -> Industry, and even then, PhD is only worth it if you hate yourself (ask me how I know).
Most of what biotech needs now are coders/software dev types. Lab-monkeys are important, but its more low-paying grunt work if you go and do actual labwork for the pharma companies. The exception is if you go PhD into an industry post-doc. You'll still be underpaid, but its easy enough to climb the ladder from there.
If you want to maximize salary, coding is the way. I transitioned from cell biology -> basically a software dev with a scientist title. I'm incredibly in demand and doubled my salary within a year because I was being recruited.
Masters, imo, is worthless in this field, but I'm not the authority on that. I know in other fields like engineering, masters is actually useful.

A mindset cut out from the world can be silly, and leading to invent the wheel twice, but the idea of keeping one foot out of it, or eyes upon the sky, I find valuable too.

Some people mistakenly believe that grounded presence means nose-diving into the dirt and becoming entangled with the mundane, while "intellectual" self-indulgence means keeping one's eyes upon the sky. I think they have it backwards.

Is it possible or common for two people to swap organs, such as heart or liver in a transplant? In other words, are viabilities for accepting a foreign organ symetrical between donar and receiver? Say for example for a healthy person to take on an unhealthy person's liver so that they share the burden of health issues, assuming the unhealthy person has multiple other damaged organs.
