I've been out of school for 7 years. I don't remember what I was doing during college but it sure as hell was not studying very hard. For work (science field) I've recently had to re-learn a lot of material that I supposedly should have learned as an undergrad. What I thought I've been doing was teaching it to myself for the first time, because I have no memory of ever having learned it before. I thought I was just a very poor student who somehow slid through those classes without learning much of anything.
That may be true, but recently I found old notebooks and assignments full of the stuff that I thought I never absorbed in the first place. I evidently worked on it at some point but it feels like a past life of which I have no memory.

The problem is that "infinity" can mean very different things regarding the context.
For me infinity is a procedure that does not end.(Potential infinity)

There is no stop in counting natural natural numbers. So you could say that there are infinite natural numbers

There is no stop in counting rational numbers. So you could say that there are infinite rationals numbers.

There is at least one rational number that is not a natural

Considering infinity as a quantity however can lead to many incomprehensible statements like the following

Simply by the fact that we have a way to count rationals, the ammount of rational numbers is equally infinite as the ammount of natural numbers. We don't have a way to count continuous lengths/reals therefore their ammount is infinite but somehow bigger than the infinity of naturals or rationals (Set Theorists)
