You essentially have to waste the first 25 years of your life on shit that could be taught in 4-5 years at most.
Even now in university I feel like it's going so fucking slow.

I watched this video discussing this fight-flight-freeze-fawn model of stress responses. I have some questions regarding autism and how stress response might have to do with certain kinds of sexual behavior and way of seeing oneself.
Are autistic masking and adoption of submissive/masochistic sexual attitudes (especially when under stress) fawn responses? I have noticed that I am most masochistic when under a lot of stress, feeling hopless, etc.
Is being a recluse either flight or freeze? I tend to interact with the world as little as possible. Would this be an example of either a flight or freeze response? When it gets to really be too much, I have, at times, spent prolonged amounts of time just staring at the inside of a blanket or a futon and maybe crying. Is that freeze or just what people call autistic shutdown?
Could autogynephilic transsexuality, especially of a submissive and fawning nature, be a kind of flight from a hated self into a form of identity more well-suited to fawning (sexually)? Is this a kind of dissociation?
What is the difference, if any, between escapism and dissociation? Is zoning out while playing video games or writing music or masturbating a coping mechanism?
Is getting your dick touched and touching back with an older boy and then having your mom get super mad and make you feel horrible about "having sex" and realizing you got taken advantage of and didn't know what was going on enough to cause C-PTSD? I always heard of PTSD being something that happens to soldiers growing up and there was a big stigma around using it frivolously. What happened to me was not that bad compared to the torture other people have gone through, so it feels weird to be to consider that it might be and it wasn't something I saw as on the table.
Answers to these questions could lead to a need to re-evaluate sexuality. If submission is rooted in trauma and fawning stress response, that could maybe be retraumatization and bad for mental health.

Sorry, had to remake this thread.
Why was this such a big deal for a few months? Can't we just extrapolate what black holes are supposed to look like?

Do you think humans will ever be able to achieve immortality through science? And if so, when do you think it will happen?

The sole fact that magnetic field produces handiced current makes magnetic field non-fundamental. The symmetry breaks. It is sufficient condition to make something to be non-fundamental.

I have such good feelings from combinatorics.
I'm pretty bad at it, but I'm also maybe the stupidest person who's ever gotten a math degree.
But I just fucking love ""advanced counting"".
There's something about it that feels so good to me. I also think it's undeservedly denigrated to "some subtopic" in "discrete" maths. Or a sidenote in graph theory. Or shit like that. But honestly dudes? I just really like combinatorics. It feels good and great and I like how it makes me feel.
Can people smarter than me talk about combinatorics?
