Long term effects of Covid-19

Alpha and Delta were somewhat deadly. Omicron is a joke... or is it?

Does this shit actually gives some form of HIV/AIDS? I've seen a couple people who doesn't seem to fully recover and keep degrading physically and mentally since infection or vaccination with the mRNA vaccines. Seems much worse for the older people, the younger ones seems to be able to mostly brush it off, but if we have recurring mutations and infections, it seems that the world could actually be fucked long term. I really hope not. Any knowledgeable person on here? Are we actually fucked or not?

Does math cause mental illness?

No.14139382 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Something that does not seem to be discussed very often is the mental health implications of devoting one's mind to studying mathematics. I am not (only) talking about social problems, but genuine mental health issues (people loosing their minds). I believe the main reasons for these problems are prolonged mental fatigue (since math requires a lot of focused thinking) and social isolation, since studying math is naturally a solo-activity and everyone thinks at has his own pace.

Well?
