Draw for your own enjoyment first and foremost.
If you don't have clients or deadlines, you can do whatever you want and nobody can stop you. Go at your own pace and don't make your life dependent on art or whether or not people like your work.
But, the more fun you're having, the more you'll draw, the more you'll learn, the better you'll get.
You'll make an habit out of drawing if you're doing it for fun.
And if you feel bad about your work sucking, just draw some more bad stuff until you learn what you're doing wrong.
