Time point data analysis

No.14161651 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Platforms which can perform analysis for time point data? I tried using https://web.rniapps.net/time/ but it's mostly visual and generally looks at one sample at a time. I need to look at temporal changes of groups of samples. I'll learn r eventually, but now is not the time.

Original Antigenic Sin

63% of COVID hospitalizations in Denmark are vaxxed ... 34% are boosted. You will recall Denmark was the first country outside of Africa to detect Omicron.

What does life in the post-Omicron world look like for the vaccinated? Assuming COVID-19 will continue to lose virulence and gain transmissibility ... are the vaccinated doomed to bad colds once a year? If COVID-19 remains an endemic coronavirus, and the only immune response they can muster is a response to the Wuhan strain, could we see the unvaccinated having asymptotic infections while the vaccinated have symptoms? What are the chances original antigenic sin prevents an Omicron-specific vaccine from working on the previously vaccinated?

Anyone uses or used to use a kerosene lamp? Does it give enough light to comfortably read? Would it be cheaper than electricity? Does the full tank last long? Does it smell when it's burning or not burning? Does it create toxic or otherwise harmful fumes?

Why do humans always seem to think they are separate from other animals?

No.14157801 ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
Seems like every philosophy and religion always tried to view human as something above the other animals and important. Why is that? Is it not obvious we are a part of nature and just another species?
