What is special about a square in relation to a triangle? Yes a triangle is different from a circle, but a square is just an equilateral triangle with 4 sides is it not? It's the same as a pentagon from a square. Tell me how that is incorrect.

The reason he specified that it's polygon is that you made the mistake of assuming that shapes are just triangles with more sides, when in reality every regular shape is a specific case of a polygon.
If you can't see why the distinction is important then I shouldn't waste my time.
The thing that's "special" is that triangles and squares are just cases where n=3 and 4 respectively.

is looking at the converged spot of light (reflected from the paper) damaging to the eyes?
an intense enough laser can cause eye damage even through incident light, like looking at a spot on a wall.
is this the same for a magnified reflection of sunlight?

the spot isn't incident, its a reflection, and likely yes I think a specular reflection of magnified sunlight could be dangerous exactly the same as an extremely powerful laser.

It depends on the focal ratio, the lower the higher the image's intensity gets, though it can never exceed that of the source's even when focused on a 100% reflective matte surface, same for specular reflection from that focus. That is to say, the sun's image will always be less intense than that of photosphere, and considerably less dangerous to look at briefly than playing around with even modest power lasers is, but still not a good idea to look at for longer than one would glance at the naked sun.

No, these are examples for concave curves, because you want a balanced mix of both. Convex means you are okay with either but only need one.

Internet connection is a good example. You might be indifferent between contract A and B but as soon as you have one of them you have 0 need for the other.
