>Study computer science in 1982
Get a free bachelor's in math because most of the courses overlap with each other
>Study computer science in 2002
Take Calc I, Calc II, Linear algebra, differential equations and discreet math at a bare minimum
>Study computer science in 2022
Bachelor's of science requires Calc 1 and discreet math, bachelor's of arts requires no math and is more popular than the bachelor's of science
Why is this? Why is computer science distancing itself from math in the academic world?

>first calc 2 classes in person after 2 yrs of online hell
>give quiz on basic calculus, prerequisite stuff
>students bomb it because theyve been online for the last 2 yrs and not learning
>be nice professor and let them re-do one of the questions for full credit
>even post detailed solutions so they can basically copy my work without penalty, just want them to understand the steps
>9 students disregard instructions and copy a (wrong) answer from idk Chegg or some shit
>have to file academic dishonesty reports on these retards for the next hour instead of enjoying free time
college is a scam, if you know someone who graduated after 2014 and they are proud of their "degree" they are most likely a cheating fraud piece of shit. If any of you degens have kids or are otherwise in a position to influence young people, convince them at whatever cost to go into a trade. Only go to college if you are REALLY FUCKING INTO A SPECIFIC SUBJECT.

I am 18 and about to start university.
What are some fields that directly study and/or work with climate change and its consequences?
I was thinking either architecture/engineering or biology (marine is very interesting but other fields are cool too).

>learned how to use the command prompt terminal in like 30 minutes
I’m a fucking genius. My school has whole courses teaching kids how to use the command prompt, and all I needed was a few google searches to catch up to them.
