If these mutations are being regulated it probably means they are being controlled by epigenetics in some yet to be understood manner, not natural selection. And at any rate, regulated mutations are NOT random mutations, hence it fails to be Darwinian evolution on that basis alone.

Yes, and that MAY or MAY NOT be a significant finding. But it is NOT conclusive either way. What is so hard to understand about this? The study simply did NOT prove anything. It didn't even try to prove anything. It found interesting data. The conclusion that this study overthrows Darwinian evolution is yours and yours alone.

It is your body failing at two things at the same time. First the mutation in the tumor suppressor gene doesn't allow your body to destroy precancerous cells and then the mutation in the oncogene causes the uncontrolled liberation of growth factors.
Cancer isn't as common as you think. Most people that develop it have clear family ties (BRCA2, MEN, intestinal polyposis, etc. etc.). A completely en novo cancer is actually rare. It is almost exclusively dictated by oxidative stress and chronic inflammation (aka you're a fat fuck) and chronic external factors like smoking, toxins, food, alcohol etc.
The man in the OP would probably not develop cancer unless he inherited it, which is unlikely. Even if he lived until 70, he would probably still not develop cancer.
